What is the Laddu House?

The Laddu house prepares authentic home-style Indian sweets using ancient recipes with all-natural ingredients, pure ghee and unique flavors.

Do you ship nationwide in the US?

Yes, we ship nationwide all over US. We ship with USPS. 

What are your order shipping confirmation lead times?

Up to 4 days depending on order volumes, inventory and labor availability. 

How long does shipping take?

Typically, our premium Indian sweets are shipped within 3-4 days. In COVID times, give us additional time to re stock. Our preferred carrier for the shipments is USPS. We ship using 1-3 day First class or 2 day priority. 
COVID-19 update:
In the pandemic USPS states they have increased number of deliveries and limited availability, hence some deliveries are delayed. We are not responsible for delayed USPS shipments. Our products have good shelf life. We guarantee our sweets will be fresh even when delayed. 

Which days do you ship out? 

We ship Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

What sweeteners are used in the Laddus?

We use brown sugar, maple syrup in most of Laddus and honey in couple of Laddus. There are no refined sugars or artificial sweeteners in the laddus from the Laddu House.

Do you buy nut flour to make laddus?

No. We only buy raw ingredients which is then carefully roasted in-house for fresh and best flavor. This also helps preserve nutrients.

Do you buy ready-made Ghee?

No. We make fresh ghee in small-batches in-house to get the best flavor, preserve freshness and nutrients. We buy rBST free, grass-fed, NON-GMO, free-roaming cows’ butter.

Is Ghee consumable for those who are lactose intolerant?  

Yes. Ghee is lactose-free. It has been proven to not cause any reaction to those who are allergic to dairy. If you are ethically vegan, please know that Ghee is made from dairy and hence it is a not a vegan product suitable for consumption.

Are laddus safe for those with nut allergies?

Although we do use walnuts, cashews and coconuts at our facility, we ensure all our equipment are thoroughly cleaned at the end of the day. But due to high risk factors for those who have severe nut allergy, we do not recommend our laddus.

Do you ship to addresses outside the United States?

Currently, the Laddu House does not ship outside of the United States. Be sure to enter right address. We have no way of knowing which address is right. We are not responsible for wrong address.

Can I pickup locally?

Yes, Choose local pickup at checkout. Add  the day you want to pickup in comments. We will contact your email or phone that you provided at checkout. Be sure to check email or phone number you provided. 

How we make our sweets?

  • We pick approved, best distributors for quality ingredients
  • We only buy raw ingredients, which is then roasted in-house at low temperatures to get the best flavor, preserve enzymes, freshness, and taste
  • We prepare small batches of ghee to satisfy your taste buds
  • We use fresh coconuts, roasted in-house to preserve precious oil, flavor and best texture

The Laddu House Story: How was the company founded?

The Laddu House was founded and established by Ujwala Chintala. Before becoming an accomplished Entrepreneur, she was a software engineer with over 15 years of work experience. Being a mother of two amazing children, Ujwala always loved experimenting with traditional recipes with natural ingredients. After having inspired many readers through her blog ujwalasdelicacies.com, she decided to start her own little entrepreneurial venture with a family favorite - Laddus. Every year, she started making new varieties for special occasions like Diwali. Laddus with fewer bad calories, fewer bad fat, low carb, great flavor, healthy, clean and unique flavors have already become a favorite amongst many. With the Laddu House, she hopes to serve premium quality Indian sweets to a wider audience.
